- I am reminded of the little dialogue that goes something like this:
-
- Doctor to Patient: "How can I help you?"
- Patient: "It hurts when I do this." (Patient contorting his
- arm in some inhuman way)
- Doctor: "Then don't do it."
-
- Same goes for removing the network connection.
-
- HOWEVER, if you do, chances are the network card is shutting down.
- The "landiag" command has options to reset the card. We use it
- successfully when the network goes bonkers and the HP cards shut
- off. Why do the cards shut off? I don't know. Any answers from
- our friendly HP support engineers?
