  25.     I missed the fact he was modifying conf.c instead of dfile. My comments
  26.     applied to using dfile. I have found some 'tunable' parameters do not
  27.     take effect when placed in dfile. To be honest, that may have been under
  28.     8.05 but since I still have my 'hand crafted' /etc/master, I wouldn't
  29.     know. 9.01 seems to work ok using sam or just editing dfile.
