  16. STREAMS/UX is a separate product available for HP-UX release 9.0
  17. or higher.  It includes the basic STREAMS framework, a "generic"
  18. TLI interface (user must supply their own STREAMS-based network
  19. transport), and a DLPI interface to HP's Ethernet/802.3 and Token 
  20. Ring LAN interface cards.

  22. It does not include the following, which someone coming from System
  23. V may think of as "STREAMS": a TLI interface to TCP/IP, a STREAMS-based
  24. version of TCP/IP, a STREAMS-based implementation of pipes, and 
  25. a STREAMS-based implementation of terminal I/O.  A full-fledged
  26. datasheet will be available later this week.
