- This may help... Rechargable batteries are peculiar in that they put out a
- constant level of power, then suddenly die out. Non-rechargeables fade away,
- putting out less power as they lose their charge. I expect that the computer
- recognizes the lower charge, then warns you. But the rechargeable does not
- allow a large enough window for warning. Also, NiCad rechargeables simply do
- not last as long as alkaline cells.
