- I just bought a Vaxstation 2000 for which the system password was apparently
- forgotten or corrupted, since the one I was told doesn't work. That would be a
- reason to sell it. It was running vms 4.7 and has an RD54 and no input device
- other than ethernet. Is there a way to get around this using the rom monitor
- and halt switch? I guess it would work to put the disk on another machine and
- delete the password file, or something like that, but it is a lot of trouble.
- I'm told it doesn't cost anything to transfer the vms license, but that
- wouldn't solve anything by itself. Any suggestions? Thank you.
