- I fired up Desterm to transfer some files using ymodem batch (ok, it was a
- disk full) from my PC to my C128 @ 1200 bps by hooking the modems together.
-
- Desterm and my PC agreed and ran "just fine" through the transfer, but when
- I tried to play the sidplayer files (i.e. all the Xmas SIDS on milton), the
- intro screens were garbled (extra characters), and the music would play at
- most one note before ending.
-
- I used Xmodem on another terminal program (just 3 files, .mus .str .wds for
- one song), and that song worked fine. Same type of connection, still using
- Procomm host at the PC end.
-
- Any suggestions? I really don't want to have to type all those names and
- extensions in one at time for a file which takes an average of 15 seconds.
