  16. There was some disussion on how to use a hard disk on a c64.

  18. Has anybody thought abaut the following way to do it:

  20. a: make some files on the harddisk off your pc. those will
  21.    be " disks " .
  22. b: get the pc to emulate a 1541, and use those files.
  23. c: get the c64 to use the pc as a drive.

  25. Becouse some while ago there was some posting on how to 
  26. connect a 1541 to a pc, it simply must be possible to 
  27. connect the c64 to a pc as well ( using the same connector )

  29. The only problem is the pc programm that will use this 
  30. connector in the right way.
  31. ( does anyone have the sourcecode off the neat program that 
  32. came with the connector posting?  or better yet, will the one 
  33. who wrote it help us out!? )

  35. In this way you don't have to build a complex interface, or
  36. otherwise do weird things, and it is a flexible dessign,
  37. becouse you use the pc as a device.

  39. Seems easier than building an interface to the harddisk.

  43. printer buffer!   ( i kind of like that )
