  20. Ohwell I see troubles ahead. You neither have EMAIL access (but can you 
  21. RECEIVE any???) and yer using an IBM board. Hmmmmmm... it still doesn't 
  22. give me enough clues. Well, we here at Technical University Graz are 
  23. using around 50 PC's, 8 of them being 486/33 Mhz, the rest is 286/12 Mhz.
  24. All PC's are tied together in an Ethernet LAN, and are served by a ring 
  25. of seven Apollo's. Dont even ask me for UNIX details, I don't know, I just 
  26. use it. (e.g. "TELNET", "FTP", etc.). If you should need any of the 
  27. net software, let me know. Can we discuss this over the phone, can you 
  28. call out? Derby Ram has my number!

  30. Oh I'm outta business on this net from dec.18th to jan 8th: Holidays, the
  31. computer rooms are closed. Damn sad!

  33. Someone else already told you the story of how to FTP, I hope it will work
  34. fine for you. I also hope you can convert data from C64 to IBM and back
  35. (e.g. with a 1571 drive, its second disk controller can read and write
  36. PC disks). If so, we can have a bloody cool time out here on the FTP's: 
  37. alot of'em are just waiting to get filled.
