  12.      I have a customer who may need to set up a huge number of
  13. modem lines to service incoming calls to his UNIX system, and he
  14. wants to find a system that already does this rather than roll
  15. his own.  While we could probably do it ourselves for small
  16. numbers of lines (say, 32), these may just not scale up very well
  17. to handling several hundred modems.
