- I recently got gcc 1.40 from cs.ruu.nl and I've had a few problems with
- it. Compiling with -g produces an 8 char symbol table szadb recognizes
- but gdb doesn't. Compiling with -gg produces, 'gcc-as: I don't understand
- "-G"' followed by a bunch of errors. Is a later version of gcc 1 available,
- or am I doing something wrong? Also, what does binmode() do? Thanks for
- any help advice or free food.
