  14. I have problems with my harddisk-driver: It is unable to read SOME files.
  15. If you use the following combination of Hard- and Software:
  16. Seagate ST 277N     SCSI Harddisk
  17. AliaSCSI         SCSI Adapter (from c't)
  18. AliaSCSI V 1.6        Harddisk-driver (from c't)
  19. Atari 520ST+
  20.  
  21. then LZH is unable to READ LZH files from the Harddisk (but able to WRITE them), CS-TeX 
  22. TeX can't read SOME format files and CS-TEX GFtoPK can't read SOME PK-files. 
  23. The problems are reproducible and don't occure if you use an Atari 1040ST or another 
  24. harddisk-driver (AHDI works very well, but it is slowwwww).

  26. Since this problem occures only in a certain combination of harddisk and computer, my 
  27. questions are:
  28.  - Has anybody a solution for my problem? I have the source code of the driver and are 
  29.    in contact with the developer.
  30.  - Are there any differences in the DMA-Chips in the 520 and the 1040?
  31.  
  32. Hope somebody has an answer.
