- If the modem has the same serial socket, and phone-plugs on the back, (
- or side depending...) and it's HAYES compatible, Flash will handle it
- quite happily! (It should say on the box or in the manual or something
- what the modems specifications are...)

- If it is a 9600, you'll need to find the serial patch for use on your
- ST, otherwise the modem will complain when you start trying to do anything
- fancy!! (This patch is available pretty much everywhere, I think
- POOLFIX does the required job.)

- It would be advisable to test, or get the modem on a if-it-doesn't-go-can-I
- return-it basis! That's probably the safest method. Modems are pretty
- much standard, if it works on one machine, it will generally work on all
- the others! (with one major exception being MS-Doze Internal Modems!)
