  25. A complete stranger came up to me today and asked me how to access the
  26. serial port on an Atari using GW Basic.  Not surprising I didn't know, but
  27. I thought someone here might be able to help.

  29. Aparently he wants to connect some sort of relay device to his RS-232 port,
  30. he has a prgram written in GW Basic for use on an IBM.  It does something
  31. like:
  32. OPEN comms1

  34. What is the equivilent device name for the Atari or will he have to be
  35. crude and poke at addresses?

  37. A small piece of code illustrating what he should do would be nice.
