- Hi, THis is Sam, once more, thanks to all who helped me find hints on
- my games. BTW, tothe person who posted the hint about Sundog, there
- are 3 'alternitive' ways of making money on Sundog.
-
- 1.) You get two umarked shields from the weapons shop, place a gun in your
- hand (if you were foolish enough to run aroud with out one :-) ),
- keep your marked shield in the bottom right side of your pack.
- a.) Each time a shield is destroyed switch shields (I forget if it
- does this automacticly), so you can get all your money from the
- bank and 'hang' around blowing away muggers (if you are lucky they
- have money). Sure you could do this with regular shields, but this
- way is alot cheaper.
- b.) Buy as many shields as you can at a cheap planet (i.e. Cadillac(sp))
- store them in every spot that can take them on your ship. Sell them
- at someplace rich (i.e. Jadul). BIG PROFIT.
- 2.) This way doesn't have to do with shields, but when you finally get to
- the planet that is war-torn buy all the extras you can (cloakers,
- concetrators, etc..) use in your ship. Get a bunch of reserve fuel
- and fly out half-way when the Unknown ship appears cloak (you shouldn't
- be cloaked at the start) and blow him away, he often has cargo to tractor
- in. This is how I made 8 million credits before finishing (of course
- my score was 0, but that was because I couldn't find the stupid ramp
- on that stupid moon planet to get to the stupid second city.)
-
- Also, does anyone know what the story about that planet is? Who are the
- unknown ships, why are they attacking, what does this have to do withyour
- uncles crash, has anyone seen the calandar with the pin up on it in the
- parts shop, and finially does any one think that there should be a Sundog II.
