- Another problem (distorting the picture out of its "true" proportions)
- seems to occur with GIFs that have their height greater than their
- width. It would be a *great* thing if the "squash picture/select
- 320x200 section of picture" option could be extended to handle cuts of
- arbitrary size from the original picture (maybe even allow the user to
- distort his selected section thus giving complete control over any
- part of the picture. I know this is not easy to implement.)

- Yes, the quality is amazing. They really should continue their
- excellent work. BTW, on my 3MB (german) TOS 1.4 machine the
- DoubleClick PCS viewer seems to lock up, i.e. it displays the picture
- correctly, but I can't get back to the desktop again. Is there some
- esoteric key combination to be pressed to quit (yes, I've tried the
- mouse buttons as well), or is it a problem with the TOS or the
- programme itself?
-
- While I'm complainig:
- A *serious* flaw of the native PCS viewer/slideshow is that it expects
- the pictures to be on drive a! This *really* needs to be fixed! :-)
