  25. (I've asked these questions before, but never gotten much information
  26. so I just took a browse through the new Computer Shopper.  Couldn't find
  27. a single place selling SCSI floppy drives.  Of course, since CS is mostly
  28. PC stuff, I'm not surprised.  It's been said that a Macintosh external
  29. floppy drive might work..  could be.. I don't know squat about Macs..)

  31. Secondly, a SCSI floppy would have to have a SCSI device driver installed,
  32. just like a SCSI hard drive.  The desktop is not going to just automatically
  33. recoginize it as "Drive B"..

  35. Would something like ICD's utilities for the Link work with a SCSI floppy?
  36. Maybe..    does ICD sell their Link utilities separately..?

  38. Will AHDI 5.0 work with SCSI floppy drives..?  If not, will Atari think it
  39. much of a priority to modify it to work with them..?  Perhaps the Falcon
  40. will have to come with a new set of hard drive utilities to work with the
  41. internal IDE hard drive anyway, and maybe those will also work with an
  42. external SCSI floppy drive..   does anyone who already have a Falcon
  43. know if that's true or not..?

  45. That's a lot of open questions..  yes, you can "hook up" a LOT of SCSI
  46. devices, but getting them to do anything is the trick...
