- 120ns or better. Good luck finding chips as slow as 120ns, though. I had to put

- If you mean "will the computer automatically recognise the extra memory," yes,
- it will. If you mean to ask if you need to do anything else besides sticking the
- expansion board in your computer, well, it depends on which upgrade kit you get.
- Many people swear by kits that require soldering. I have a Z-RAM 3D which
- required no soldering at all, and I haven't had a problem in the three years
- I've been using it. Basically, it all comes down to how you're having it
- installed. If you're doing it yourself, and you can use a soldering iron,
- go for the solder-installation model. If you've never used an iron, but
- still want to do it yourself, get the plug in model. If you're having your
- friendly neighborhood dealer (and just how many of those are left? Heck, at
- this point I'd even settle for a HOSTILE neighborhood dealer!) do it, they'll
- probably want to solder it in...
