- I would be HIGHLY interested in seeing these readers hit
- atari.archive.umich.edu. The local Atari User Group is in the process
- of upgrading the BBS, and now does the QWK thing.
-
- I've been using MicroTalk 1.06, and having some difficulties because
- of spaces in the CONTROL.DAT file in the wrong spot. (I've hacked at
- the binaries/RSC file a bit, and found out where & why.) Perhaps the
- newer version works a little better.
-
- Are there sources available to any of these? There's several people
- here in Ottawa that would be quite happy to help make one of the GEM
- readers work better, and contribute the changes to the world at large.
-
- I suspect that the ideal is to take some GEM-based reader like
- MicroTalk, and give it a case of creeping-featuritis. Or perhaps farm
- out some of the features to external programs (for instance, text
- editing).
