  14. I would be HIGHLY interested in seeing these readers hit
  15. atari.archive.umich.edu.  The local Atari User Group is in the process
  16. of upgrading the BBS, and now does the QWK thing.

  18. I've been using MicroTalk 1.06, and having some difficulties because
  19. of spaces in the CONTROL.DAT file in the wrong spot.  (I've hacked at
  20. the binaries/RSC file a bit, and found out where & why.)  Perhaps the
  21. newer version works a little better.

  23. Are there sources available to any of these?  There's several people
  24. here in Ottawa that would be quite happy to help make one of the GEM
  25. readers work better, and contribute the changes to the world at large.

  27. I suspect that the ideal is to take some GEM-based reader like
  28. MicroTalk, and give it a case of creeping-featuritis.  Or perhaps farm
  29. out some of the features to external programs (for instance, text
  30. editing).
