  24. Basically, the 520 has 512K RAM and the 1040 has 1Mb RAM.  Other differences
  25. can abound, however, depending on how old the system is.  Some 1040's did
  26. not have an RF modulator (therefore no hook up to a TV), early 520's did
  27. not have a built in floppy drive, etc.  Just look before you leap.

  32. No, but Atari has recently published the "International Software Catalog"
  33. which lists most all known available commercial software products for the
  34. Atari ST/STe/TT computer line.  You can order one direct from Atari by
  35. calling 408-745-6833.  It's a pretty hefty book and well designed with plenty
  36. of descriptions, screen shots, prices, addresses, phone numbers, etc.

  41. One of my personal favorites is TOAD computers, 800-448-TOAD.  Other good
  42. ones are Joppa, 800-876-6040 or Computer Studio, 800-253-0201.  Several
  43. others out there too, of course.

  48. Don't think so but there is an Atari ST FAQ which you should read as it
  49. includes lots of nifty info for the newcomer.
