  11. With a hard disk, there are programs that let you save the configuration
  12. data of the MIO or Black Box to a file; you could append one of those to
  13. a password program, and without the proper password, the computer wouldn't
  14. even "know" there is a hard disk.  Or, it would only have access to a small
  15. partition containing DOS and the password program.  Since I live alone, I
  16. haven't needed anything like that myself, but it could be done.
