- With a hard disk, there are programs that let you save the configuration
- data of the MIO or Black Box to a file; you could append one of those to
- a password program, and without the proper password, the computer wouldn't
- even "know" there is a hard disk. Or, it would only have access to a small
- partition containing DOS and the password program. Since I live alone, I
- haven't needed anything like that myself, but it could be done.
