- Well, I finally upgraded all the way. That's right: 1200 baud. SX212
- territory.
-
- I've been running at 300 baud for a while (several years) and finally made
- the jump when I got the latest B&C Computervisions catalog (yes, they're
- still there). The problem I have, though, is this: I don't have a
- handler for the modem. I got (as part of the package from B&C) SX
- Express, but I have the Omniview board and like to run in 80 columns,
- VT100 style. For that I need a separate handler for the modem. (There is
- a handler on the disk, but it's screwed up; as a binary file, it's
- supposed to start off with 255, 255, etc. but it starts out 127, 127, ...
- so there's something fundamentally wrong with it.)
-
- Is there anybody out there who has a handler for the SX212 that will work
- with Omnicom? I'd love to hear from you... or if you know where the
- handler is located within the SX Express file, I'm fully capable of
- pulling it out.
-
- Thanks,
- Harry "with my dream system at last, just about a decade late" Johnson
