- I've just tried to hook up a printer using a standard
- IBM-Centronics cable to my XEP80.
- Is it just the connector that is standard?
- Are the pinouts the same?
- Anyway, when I try to print from various programs, BASIC etc.
- nothing happens. (I've loaded the XEP handler first, holding down shift
- to supress 80 col. mode).
- Is there a bug in the handler?
- Are the XEP pinouts non-IBM-Standard ?
- Conclusion, the "p:" device is precent but absolutely nothing prints...
-
- It's a Commodore MPS 1250 paralell printer set to EPSON FX#2
- (I've also trioed just every other combination too).
-
- PLease fill me in!
