  21. 1. How can I access the archive?

  23.    You can access the archive in one of two ways: by our mail server, BART,
  24.    or via anonymous ftp.  To get information on the mail server, please
  25.    send mail to atari@atari.archive.umich.edu with a body of 'help'.  For
  26.    information on anonymous ftp, please refer to my 'Beginner's Guide to
  27.    Anonymous FTP,' which is frequently posted here.  Questions about BART
  28.    should first be addressed to the help file, then to Jon Brode,
  29.    jon@atari.archive.umich.edu.

  33.    **NEW**:  Atari.archive.umich.edu is now available over the gopher system.
  34.    As each gopher is setup differently, I can't give a specific path. But,
  35.    you might want to try looking under "Other Gopher Systems", "North America",
  36.    "USA", "Software Archives at the University of Michigan".  Have fun.

  38.    **NEW**: The archive is also being mirrored in at least two locations:
  39.    wuarchive.wustl.edu in mirrors/archive.umich.edu/atari and at
  40.    src.doc.ic.ac.uk in computing/systems/atari/umich.  Thanks for 
  41.    helping to reduce our load by using our mirrors.  Remeber, that uploads
  42.    to the mirrors will NOT make it to me. To upload, you *must* be 
  43.    at atari.archive.umich.edu.

  47.    You can upload via ftp or by sending uuencoded chunks to me (address below).

  52. 4. After I've posted files to the archive, it often takes a few days before
  53.    they're available to the public.  What sort of queueing system do
  54.    you use?

  56.    **NEW**: The queueing system is now known as our collective spare time.
  57.    I've found some folks willing to donate their time and energy to
  58.    help maintain the archive.  So, if you don't see someting appear in
  59.    a few days time, that means we're probably having trouble with your
