- Keep in mind that Computer Shopper gets hundreds of advertisers, while
- A2-Central has never carried advertising (I subscribe to both, so I
- know what I'm talking about). Advertising allows Shopper to be such a
- bloated magazine, yet still keep a reasonable sticker price. When
- readers have to foot the bill (as is the case with A2-Central), it's a
- totally different ballgame. If you want to spend $50-$100 a year for
- an A2-Central printed in 4 process colors on heavy, glossy paper, go
- ahead--make my day. I'll keep buying the current issues at ~$30 per year.

-
- Are you sure you're not? That seems to be all you do in any of your
- posts to this newsgroup. Nothing is ever good enough for you. If the
- Apple II world isn't hot enough for you, why don't you go out, buy
- yourself a 486DX2-66 EISA local-bus system, hobnob with the computing
- elite, and forget that there is a newsgroup called comp.sys.apple2?
- The rest of us will keep our Apple IIs--and have a blast with them.
