- Yep.

- The card is officially known as the Apple 3.5 Disk Controller Card. It runs
- the Apple 3.5 (800K), the Apple UniDisk 3.5 (800K) and the Apple SuperDrive
- (1.4Mb).

-
- You MUST have a real live SuperDrive to be able to make use of high density
- disks. The MS-DOS FST (from all accounts) will not work on anything less than
- a SuperDrive. The standard Apple 3.5 which was supplied with your IIgs will not
- cut it. Mac HFS (800K) is not a problem, of course.

- Who needs it?? AFE is just too slow. Translate with the HFS FST on your IIgs,
- or look around for the ProDOS init for the Mac (it certainly comes with the
- IIe card for the Mac LC, if someone with one of those). Either option is both
- faster and more clever than AFE.
