- Hmmmm....
- It seems that you are having the same kind of problems that I encountered
- when I tried to hook up my 2 new Quantum drives....
- First thing .. Is the External case that you are using EXTERNALLY terminated?
- If it is then you have to remove the INTERNAL termination that comes with ALL
- Quantum drives...
- You can do this by looking at the bare drive upside down and removing the 3
- terminator resistors at the back of the drive .. (On the Circuit board by the
- SCSI connector) They look like small black strips with 8 pins in them..
- I found this to be my problem as I was faced with the dreaded DOUBLE
- TERMINATION.. And that will cause you untold pain....
