- G'Day.
-
- After many years of successfully using a //c as an all-purpose home
- computer, I picked up a second-hand ][e (unenhanced) at a computer auction
- (at an amazingly cheap price, too). However, it contained a number of cards
- I am unfamiliar with (my previous contact with ][es was over six years ago,
- and they always had Apple cards in them).
-
- One card that is giving me problems is the CCS 7710 Rev. B ASI. My
- Point-to-Point manual tells me this is equivalent to an Apple Communications
- Card, but rerfers me to the card's manual for instructions on setting the dip
- switches to adjust the baud rate; said manual was not amongst the
- equipment/manuals I obtained at the auction. Can anyone out there send me
- a table of dip-switch settings for this card? I assume the switches set
- a high speed and a low speed, but this is only a guess. Any help would
- be greatly appreciated. I'm not able to access netnews, so please reply
- to the e-mail address below.
-
- Thanks.
