  12. I just came upon an Apple IIgs 512k and wanted to upgrade it a bit (less
  13. than $150-200) to take advantage of whatever I can out of it (since it
  14. was free!).

  16. I picked up one of the mags still around for the Apple II and some mail
  17. order places mention version 3.0 ROMS, and I've poked around on ftp.apple.com
  18. and have seen gs-os 6.0.  Is this upgrade worth it and should I go to the
  19. new operating system?

  21. Also, I only have 512k of ram and I've been led on to believe that the last
  22. gs-specific programs required more ram than that.  What can I afford along
  23. with this ROM upgrade?
