- 1. I was at the highest level of my HD's second partition (H2) and
- 2. I had subdirectory "W71" selected without meaning to.
-
- 3. I then pressed the Shift key and selected X071.SHK and X072.SHK
- which I wanted to delete.
-
- 4. As I moved the three files towards the trashcan I saw my
- mistake and moved them back to H2. (All three still selected)
-
- 5. I hit the mouse button whil not on top of any of the three and
- nothing happened.
-
- 6. I then hit the mouse button two or three times very quickly and
- all three disappeared. Nothing was in the trash can and it had
- not flashed during this period.
-
- 7. I then tried:
- a. Mr. Fixit from ProSel 16 - No errors
- b. Exume Files from ProSel 16 - My files didn't appear
- c. Undelete files from Copy ][ + - Lost files message
- d. Undelete from UtilityWorks - Block Busy message.
- e. Mr. Fixit Master Directory option - No errors.
-
- I'm fairly certain that the files are on my HD and are somehow
- removed from the directory, memory not idled, and yet Prosel
- doesn't see this as an error.
-
- Any and all suggestions are welcome.
-
- Kind Regards,
