- : midnight? I mean, that part I know, but how do you let a program "know"
- : when it's midnight, and time for it to come out of the closet? Obviously you
- : can't have the program continuous check the time... (even under GNO... :)
- : Which brings up another point... how do you program for shell?)
- : I suppose it's time to shell out for an assemble/compiler... Which one
- : should I pick up (ie, best price/performance/support)?
- : Any replies, comments, helps and hints are very welcomed. Oh yeah, I
- : have access to VMS, Ultrix and Unix manuals too, and if there's any good stuff
- : there, do tell.
- : Ciao.

- Your best bet would be 'How to program in C (or Pascal)' bundle form
- Byteworks. They have bundle packages with tutorials and the
- ORCA/C (Orca/Pascal) compilers. Actually, in terms of the C/Pascal
- compilers its your only choice. I have heard they are quite good...
