- NeXT and Sun sounds are usually both in the .au format. However, the
- .au format supports a few different encodings, of which a Sun can only
- play one (8-bit mu-law). I don't think there are any GS programs
- currently available that convert from .au format, but supposedly, a
- future AudioZap will do it :-).

- Also, there's a program called 'sox' that'll convert from just about
- any sound format to any other one... Orca/C might be able to handle
- it, and you could always compile it on a Unix machine if you have
