- I would certainly hope not! :-) I haven't really even started yet and
- someone used "execute" and my name together in a sentence. Yikes! :-)

- Could you please wait a minute? I'd like you all to please realize that
- right now, and for at least the forseeable future, _Apple_ is in the best
- place to revise and enhance Apple II System Software. It's as simple as that.
- In case you don't know (and I'm not bragging, just trying to bring him back to
- reality), I was just hired into the Apple II Continuation Engineering Group
- with the sole purpose of working on IIgs System Software. I certainly can't
- speak in specifics as to what I will be doing, but one could assume that it
- would indeed be enhancements to GS System Software. :-)

- >>The Apple IIgs will be dead by 1993,...
-
- If you listen to all of the negativism that's been around here lately,
- sure, the Apple II will be dead in 1993. I certainly don't belive it will. The
- Apple II is more than hardware sales from the parent company - it's the entire
- user community. If you've had your head in the sand for the last few years and
- didn't realize that Apple II sales could indeed be declining, then that's your
- fault. The Apple II isn't the core of Apple's business, and it hasn't been for
- a long time. Please either keep your quite-unproductive comments to a minimum
- and do something _positive_ for the Apple II for a change. I certainly know
- I'm going to be doing my best at it in the coming year. Harrumph. :-)
