  18.     You can think of GIF is simply another archive format, like NuFX or
  19. PKZIP or ARJ.  If you want to get better compression, you would have to
  20. convert the GIF back to raw image data and then use some other technique
  21. (like JPEG).  Trying to compress a GIF itself won't get you very far.
