- Hi,
-
- Someone here is selling an Apollo DN660 ($75) and a Mentor DN600 ($100).
- I am not very familiar with these machines, and I don't have alot of
- time to research them. Can anyone tell me good/bad things about them,
- or point me to an archive with an FAQ file.
-
- I am primarily interested in the following:
-
- 1) What speed does the 68020 run?
- 2) How much memory/disk is necessary to make the system usable.
- 3) Is unix (and X) available (and usable -- not too slow).
- 4) Is (possibly used) hardware available (bigger disks, more ram) at reasonable cost.
- 5) Lots of PD software?
-
- Any information is greatly appreciated. Please send email, since our
- news server is very backlogged (and I won't see your message for a
- week).
-
- Thanks,
-
