  12. Hey, folks.  I've been looking for a nice, standard way of displaying a
  13. default response for requesters and options panels on the Amiga for a
  14. while now, but recently I saw something I liked, and I was wondering what
  15. people in general (and especially CBM if their employees have any time to
  16. think about this sort of thing) think of it.

  18. The idea is to draw a sunken borderbox around the gadtools gadget that
  19. will be "hit" if the return key is pressed, to indicate that that is the
  20. default response.  I think it looks very clean and that it doesn't clutter
  21. things up on the screen, in contrast to the standard proposed by many
  22. programs, which is to place the text for the default response button in
  23. bold.  I find it extremely ugly.  So my question is, what do people think
  24. of this idea, and does anyone know why the style guide would complain about
  25. it?  I've looked through it (read it from cover to cover, in fact), but I
  26. haven't noticed anything in there on this.  Thanks for your response!
