- The two big problems with shells in GNU Emacs are, to me, that (1) the
- ANSI codes come out funny, and (2) when using "M-x shell", it inherits
- my path (which is in my User-Startup) but not my aliases (which are in
- my shell-startup), but when using "M-x compile" it doesn't even
- inherit my path, so running a script like "gcc" or "lc -L" is useless,
- because when they launch their own commands, the system can't find
- them. Anybody have any solutions to these?
