- Good, work towards the game console idea... but don't whine about not having
- any decent applications for the Amiga when you're done.

- It means that it'll work on most future models of the machine. It means that
- I can install it on a harddisk. It means I don't have to realign my drives
- every 2 months because of some "nifty" disk loading scheme... that really
- doesn't load any faster than any other anyway...duh.
-
- (game != demo) I BUY one.. I don't buy the other.

- Are you completely dense? There's nothing wrong with using assembler to
- program under the operating system, dude... What do you think the assembler
- includes are for?..
-
- Making an 8-bitplane AGA game work on a 500 is not the point.. making an ECS
- game work under aga and beyond, and making an AGA game work on later chipsets
- IS the point. Although, some games could work both ways, if you were willing
- to make the effort... which apparently, you aren't.

-
- Yes, because if they don't.. they can virtually guarantee that their game
- will not work on anything but a A4000 or A1200 model... Do you really think
- that anything BUT ECS is gonna get a compatibility mode switch at bootup?
- Dream on.

-
- You miss the point. We're talking future here, not past. The 500 in my
- opinion is less than a A600. That means(to me) that its just about dead.
- Wake up and smell the RKM's, dude. (hehe)

-
- I'd worry if people like you were the ones programming for the Amiga in
- Europe.
