- The ones I wrote can. Any competant programmer can do as well, it's not
- in the slightest bit hard (for all certain "Bits to the Metal" types
- claim). There are any number of other games that do as well.

-
- True. So can an OS/2 program under OS/2, and I'll bet you the same bozos
- turning out "break the rules" software for the Amiga will do the same for
- OS/2. I've even had problems with idiots under UNIX disabling job control
- or stealing the whole X or NeWS screen. And what some device drivers do is
- pretty rude. And UNIX has a stronger "follow the rules" culture than the
- PC world. But at least you'll *start* to get some good ones.

-
- I doubt it. The quality of a game is pretty much independent of the level
- of technology involved. Super Mario Land on the Game Boy is a much better
- game than most of the Hot Games With Ass-Kicking Graphics (tm) I've seen
- for any PC, console, or handheld. Somehow, when people get Really Down And
- Dirty With The Hardware they forget all about playability.

-
- I'm heartbroken. I've got an Atari 800, an Amiga 1000, and a Mac. I don't
- need any more game machines. If I'm playing a game it means I'm taking a
- break from real work. You know... the stuff you do to pay the bills.
-
- Actually, I can run DOS on my Amiga, with absolutely zero impact on the
- performance of Amiga tasks.
-
- Usenet is like Tetris for people who still know how to read.
