-
- After having moved over to WB3.0 on the A4000, I found that a few of my
- aliases and script files no longer worked correctly.
-
- I'm using Wshell 2.0 and the standard Kickstart/Workbench that came
- supplied on my Amiga.
-
- Version reports:
-
- version
- --> version
- Kickstart 39.106, Workbench 39.29
-
-
- Problem 1: If I enter a command that isn't in the path, the machine tries
- to interrogate DF0:. This is pretty annoying, since I don't
- know what caused it to occur!
-
- My assigns and path don't reference df0:

- Problem 2: When aliases are expanded I get a '-->xxx' output, where 'xxx'
- is the true command name. Never seen that happen under WB 2.04
-
- Can this 'feature' be turned off?
-
- It could be a Wshell 2.0 artifact, but I can't find any
- reference to the feature in the manual.
-
- Problem 3: Using multiple path assigns (assign c: xxx add) is cool, but
- when any operation is tried on c:, only the first assigned path
- is checked. This makes it somewhat less useful than I had
- thought the feature would be.
-
- Email welcomed. Thanks in advance.
