  25.     Oh wow that is a great idea. I never thought that turning the 
  26. speaker off would be useful, seeing as how many of the speakers don't work
  27. anyway. It makes it fun to call or receive dial tones, not knowing if
  28. you got a busy signal, ring, no dialtone, etc.

  35.     My LED display problem cannot be fixed by a rom upgrade. Unless
  36. the rom sends out dead pixels and changes the intensity in a nice gradient
  37. across the display.

  44.     I have 3 sets of the new roms for all three of my SupraFAX modems.
  45. Thankyou for the suggestion about AT&F; however I am not a novice, and no
  46. sequence of AT&F will get my modem to work. I have spent hours every day
  47. for the past four weeks and nothing has revived it or my BBS...except 
  48. plugging in a different brand of modem.

  50.     I even recorded the ENTIRE register set using AT&V, duplicated 
  51. the problems, and then compared it to memory. No changes in the registers
  52. in memory. Hmmm...maybe the modem is screwed up.
