- I'm using this thread for a somewhat different form of the question.
- What is the most up to date operating system that is compatible with an
- ancient, but lovable 1000? I do have extra ram, but otherwise a stock
- machine on which I now run 1.2. Since I have a few unix-like
- enhancements and a ram cacheing system for repeated invocations of
- commands and programs, it is pretty comfortable, but there may be some
- advantages to upgrading (if the older kits are still available.)
-
- An email answer would be appreciated, although I do find time to browse
- this group occasionally.
