- Thanks for the clarification. It's unfortunate for David that Vortex has
- marketed a product with an identical name and created some unnecessary
- confusion. This sounds like an excellent prospect. Some questions which
- come to mind:
-
- o Is the GGII a Zorro II-specific configuration? And if so, have any tests
- been conducted to get an idea as to the relative performance of a VGA
- card using this interface? (ie. how well would an ATI Ultra Pro run
- for instance?)
-
- o Is there any possibility of a Zorro III-specific version of the GGII?
- And if so, would this provide a significant difference in performance?
-
- o Will the card be released commercially?
-
- >completely right that it's "only" a question of a proper driver to let

-
- However, we all know that the most elegant solution is RTG. Assuming that
- this will materialize at some point, how difficult would it be to write
- libraries for existing PC display adaptors? Are any limited programs
- available at the moment which would allow you to display a static image?
-
- Lots of questions, but this is exciting stuff! :).
