- I swapped the 8372A from a rev 6A 500 with my 8370 in my rev 5 500, and
- performed the 1 meg chip hack, and that worked.. My 500 is fine..
-
- D
- The other 500, however, is NOT fine.. With the way I have my 1084 adjusted,
- with a totally back screen (with the computer on) I have a red, green, and
- blue line at the VERY top of the screen. (If you look "up" at them you can
- see them..) When I turn the other 500 on, this happens (with the computer
- off the screen is completely blank) but nothing else does.
-
- What woudl cause this 500 to not do anything? It has power, I haven't
- changed anything except the Agnus. Would this cause it? My head aches
- too much to try swapping the Agnu's again to check..
-
- Should I reseat all of my chips, or what?
-
- I haven't tested this 500 in a long time. I hope nothing happened to it
- during that time period..
-
- Thanks for your help..
