- I just purchased a 1960 monitor. I'm having a few problems with it.
-
- There is a switch on the monitor labeled WIDTH. I prefer the ADD setting
- to increase the horizontal display. The screen, however, gets
- significantly dimmer when I do this. Is this normal? I have to just
- about max out brightness and contrast to compensate.
-
- Also, I sometimes have a wave-like shimmering in PARTS of the display
- when i'm set the width to ADD.
-
- In case it matters, I have an Amiga 3000 with deinterlacer on (of course)
- and I have the V-SIZE set to Manual (so I can adjust the screen to get
- rid of that annoying 1/2 line flicker at the top :-)
-
- I just bought it new and can return it if there is a problem or now way
- for me to take care of it myself, so I would really appreciate any prompt
- replies. I would appreciate E-Mail as its difficult for me to check this
- group frequently.
-
- Thanks!
- Eric
