- After seeing many fixes for this posted several years ago, I am now
- getting bit by this after installing a GVP 040 combo board. My
- configuration:
-
- Before upgrade:
- Kickstart 2.04 ROM, AmigaDos 2.05
- Rev 4.4 motherboard
- Supraram with 2 MB installed
- <Old> GVP Impact hard card with 20MB disk
-
- New:
- Same as above plus GVP G-force 040 combo with
- 68040, SCSI-2 with 120 MB hard-drive on card and 4 MB RAM.
-
- The symptoms are probably familiar to anyone following this group. After
- a reboot, when I open a shell window, the first character I type is lost.
- All subsequent characters work OK. I know there was a fix for this
- posted a year or two ago. If anyone has it, could you please
- mail it to me?
-
- Thanks,
