  28. The connections for the rs-232 to 8-pin-mini-din connector can be found in
  29. the imagewriter II manual (I know, cause I made one), but they are really
  30. only using 5 pins out of the rs-232 port with one wire jumpered across two
  31. others.  If the cable you have is like the one I made, don't feel bad,
  32. I couldn't get RTS/CTS handshaking to work properly either.

  34. I was having the same lack of control on the imagewriter that you had.  I
  35. was going to try changing the baud rate to 4800, when my computer died,
  36. my reason being if you tried a lower baud rate you should get less characters
  37. dropping.  Go ahead and try this, and let me know (via e-mail) if this worked.
