  24. I've got my JVC SVHS VCR hooked up to my 1084s using the S-video hookup, and
  25. its GREAT!

  27. I couldn't find a cable ANYWHERE, so I made it myself.  I used the
  28. S-Video cable that came with the VCR, and cut/stripped it to show the 2 sets
  29. of wires in the S-video cable.  Then I put the A1084s into the split chroma/
  30. luminance mode, and plug in RCA cables that I had similiarily stripped to the
  31. wires.  Then, using the luminance RCA cable, try finding the wires off the
  32. S-video that will give you a black & white picture.  Once that's done, tape up
  33. the cable, and the other group should hook up to add in the color!

  35. Took me all of 10 minutes from stripping the cables to finishing up the
  36. tape-up of the spliced wires.
