  12. Just a note on CISC.

  14. CISC stands for Complete Instruction Set Computer, not Complex Instruction
  15. Set Computer.  CISC just has more instructions and more adressing modes,
  16. which make it easier for the programmer and/or compiler to accomplish
  17. certain tasks.  RISC is harder to program, you need a more complex compiler
  18. generally but you get a fairly big increase in speed.
