  11. I'm trying to help a friend get a removable media HD running on his
  12. A3000 (WB 2.04).  The name of the drive on the faceplate is Rhaman
  13. (or something close to that) but he says its a SyQuest inside.
  14.  
  15. I plugged it into the external SCSI port and powered it up with a
  16. cartridge inside, booted the 3000 and ran HDtoolbox.  With HD
  17. toolbox I changed the drivetype to the values that it read from
  18. the drive (it reported that it was a SyQuest 42 MB drive, which
  19. is what I expected).  Then I did a low-level format, and partitioned
  20. it as single partition.

  22. Upon leaving HDtoolbox, the icon for the drive appeared as SHD0:RRRR,
  23. and it refused to open.  So, I got SCSI mounter from FF537 (or somewhere
  24. near there) and mounted it, at which point the icon became SHD0:BUSY.

  26. So, now I'm stuck.  Can someone give me some insight into how to get
  27. this thing going?  I'd appreciate it.
