- Writing large files to my Maxxor 85meg IDE causes the data to become corrupt.
-
- A 100k of NULLs survives without corruption, but a 200k file of NULLs
- (400 sector file) gets corrupted (sectors 313-328) It is corrupted with
- longs which all start with 44DF and continue to be incremented by 2.
-
- This only happens on a write and is not dependent on the source of the copy.
- (have tried copies from floppy, ram and different/same partitions)
-
- Please can anyone offer ANY suggestions why this might be happening????
-
- Thanks for any help,
-
- Andy
